D'aweee. My father in law had a cat just like your ginger but we had to put him down in October. His kidneys were failing :(

There are so many cats here and I just want to sit in a chair, have a cat hop up into my lap, and then just doze off right there.
Lap cats are the best.

She’s cute.
How’s Ellie getting on?

Ellie actually has a big bandage on her half-leg and will be having it amputated on Tuesday when she’s spayed :( She’s has issues with it scabbing and bleeding and the vet doesn’t think it will grow normally. Also there’s a cone of shame somewhere in my house that she was wearing until around 2 am so I’ll need to engineer a better way to keep that on...

Someone looks familiar.

I hope it goes well for her. Thankfully cats readjust very quickly to these things, though it’s still awful it has to be done.
The scabbing and bleeding may be down to her still trying to use it and the scab being ripped if not rubbed off on the hard or mildly abrasive surfaces.
I hope you find a way to keep the cone on, unfortunately while they may not like it, it’s there for their own good.
Give her tight hugs and kisses from me.
